Whether you've just registered your first set of colours with racing authority or you're kitting out a syndicate, Southern Apparel Co. makes custom racing silks to your exact registered design. Simple pricing, clear turnaround, and a registration-ready artwork proof before we cut a single thread.

how it works

  • Send Us Your Colours

    Forward your design — the registered colour swatch from Racing authority, a photo of an existing set, or a design sketch. 

  • We send a proof

    Our design team converts your design into a production-ready artwork proof showing the exact colours and the full panel layout. We email it to you for review. You can request minor tweaks free of charge at this stage, then confirm and sign off.

  • We make it

    Once the proof is approved, production begins. We cut your fabric, print your registered colours, sew the jacket (and cap, if included) and run a final quality check — typically around 14 days from the confirmed order. Need it sooner? Ask us about our rush schedule and we'll tell you honestly what we can fit in.

  • We deliver

    When it's finished we ship world-wide, with delivery in around 5–10 business days and tracking sent to your inbox. If it should go straight to your trainer, stable or syndicate manager, just say the word and we'll send it there. Then you're race-ready.

Do I need to register my colours before ordering?

Yes — for official racing. We'll prepare your artwork either way, but colours should be registered (or at least confirmed available) before we produce them.

Can you copy a design I saw elsewhere?

Use others only for inspiration. Colours must be distinct and approved by your state authority; we'll check availability with you first.

What if my colours aren't approved?

Because we send a proof before production, you can register and confirm before we commit — no wasted garments.

How long does it take?

About 14 days production plus 5–10 business days for delivery. Rush options may be available on request.
